The Iron Maiden is a NPC who lurks in the Silent Hill area. When approached, its cloak opens, revealing a bloody mouth or ribcage like area. Hitting it with the Nail Bat does nothing. At random points while walking the streets, it will rush towards you, effectively capturing you.

Having the highest possible speed settings, it can catch you in an instant, even with the Rabbit Effect equipped. It will transport you back to the entrance.

Trivia

After interacting with the Iron Maiden, all NPCs appear to have vanished.
It is most likely that it is the culprit behind the slaughter hinted at on the streets.
